Week Six 2021
Hello parents and campers! Welcome to the sixth edition of the 2021 on-line Trail Talk, Camp Creek Run’s summer camp newsletter. We had a fun-filled week and we hope you did too!
The Evesham Fire Department visited Camp Creek Run this week. The campers were mesmerized by all of the equipment on the fire trucks. The firemen spoke about fire prevention and the day to day life of a fireman. Lots of questions later, the kids got a good soaking in the archery field. We are so lucky that the fire fighters had a chance to stop by.
The campers were all nice enough to not shave on Tuesday night so that the camp could celebrate Mustache Day! Many a fuzzy upper lip was displayed and everyone enjoyed showing off their staches,
Our CIT director Adam, led a fun activity with the campers this week! They made mini-ovens using discarded pizza boxes and some other supplies. The power of the sun can really generate some tasty s'mores! Great team activity!
