Week Three 2020

Hello parents and campers! Welcome to the third edition of the 2020 on-line Trail Talk, Camp Creek Run’s summer camp newsletter. We had a fun-filled week and we hope you did too! Because 2020 is such a special year, CCR decided to Tie-Dye twice this summer! As you know, we are great at the art of color on fabric. And thanks to Judi for leading the assembly line so that every camper could create a modern piece of art. Everyone wore their shirts on Thursday and the camp was bursting like fireworks! We'll be at it again on Week 6! Keith, our sports director, ran a World Games Week for the campers. They got to games like Bocce Ball, Crocket, and Cricket! The kids did great! Even our littlest Win

Week Two 2020

Hello parents and campers! Welcome to the second edition of the 2020 on-line Trail Talk, Camp Creek Run’s summer camp newsletter. We had a fun-filled week and we hope you did too! We had a beautiful and mild weathered week at CCR. The campers are all in full swing and have been keeping bust all day with our many activities! Judi, our art and crafts supervisor, has been leading the kids in many adventurous works of art. From mosaics to weavings to jewelry, the campers are expressing themselves in amazing ways! The pools are glistening and sparkling! The lifeguards are keeping. close watch on things and assisting our littlest swimmers on swimming techniques. Every week kids can earn their swim

It has been so great to see so many returning staff and campers this summer! We are proud to be able to share Camp Creek Run with all of our families even through all of the trying times that everyone is experiencing. We are taking all of the precautions that we as a staff are capable of in an outdoor environment. We want all parents and guardians to know that we are going above state standards for safety every day in the service of our tribe.
